The forms for the first events of the year are now available. Please be aware that there are seperate forms for current members, as well as Candidates. In addition all members must be currently registered with a BSA unit, as well as with the Lodge, and have a current medical form on file with the Lodge in order to attend lodge activities.
As of January 1st, 2010, all Arrowmen must have a copy of the 2010 SFBAC Medical Form on file to attend Lodge Events.

The Vigil committee has determined, that in order to account for the time needed to obtain approval of our Lodge's Vigil candidates from the San Francisco Bay Area and National Councils of the Boy Scouts of America, that the Vigil Callout will be held at the Lodge Banquet in December, and the Vigil Ordeal will be held on Friday Night of Achiefest.
This change to the lodge calendar has been approved by the Key 3.
We would like to thank all of the Arrowmen who submitted nominations as this greatly assisted the committee in determining which of our fellow Arrowmen to honor.
This coming summer the National OA Indian Summer event will return to Ashland, North Carolina. This rare experience has a limited attendance, but has proven to be a great time for those attend. Classes in regalia, ceremonies, dancing, and singing are provided in a manner similar to NOAC, but with a unqiue focus.

For years, the Order of the Arrow has pioneered the concept of the service adventure with the OA High Adventure Programs. In 2008, the OA had the chance to open up the service adventure to more Arrowmen with ArrowCorps5. Now, in 2011, the Order of the Arrow is providing another opportunity to blend the bliss that comes from cheerful service and the personal growth that can only come from a high adventure. While the service to the national river is an important aspect of the project, the fun that comes from recreation, brotherhood, and being in the wilderness will make the experience that much richer.
